The best newspaper! February 19, 2009 J. Kenyon (Palm Harbor, Fl. United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The best and most balanced newspaper. It is even better that the Wall Street Journal! The editorials give you another look--not the same as the newspapers of today. They also have interesting articles on people from the past and how they influenced the 10 best ways to achive success!
A must read if you are interested in life and finance!
Best editorials on the planet May 6, 2010 Mark Bossingham (Tokyo) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Indispensable investment news and the most carefully crafted editorials on the planet. Short and to the point, they cut through all the noise and spin.
This Newspaper has made me thousands of dollars. December 31, 2007 Eric Collins (Houston, Texas) 14 out of 21 found this review helpful
As an investment newspaper, it has made me several thousands of dollars. I am a small investor, less than $100,000 that I directly invest and this news paper and the related books are THE reason I have averaged about 15% returns on just a few trades a year for the last five years.
A clear pattern has emerged, if I follow the IBD method, and read the paper, I make money, if I don't then it is a roll of the dice.
For news what I love about the paper is the editorial section is clearly labeled as such, and not editorials masquerading as news. They do a great job helping me understand what is going on in the world and making money.
The best investigative journalism. October 15, 2008 Rebecca (California) 10 out of 15 found this review helpful
Investor's Business Daily won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Journalism for a very good reason. I have never read a major newspaper with a better investigative reporting team than this newspaper. Through the years I have been a regular reader of the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Financial Times, The Washington Post, The Globe and Mail(Canada's major newspaper out of Toronto), the Guardian(out of London,UK), the Times of London(UK)and the Wall Street Journal. All of these papers do not come close to the quality and quantity of investigative journalism available daily in Investor's Business Daily (IBD). IBD is willing to make the effort to investigate where no other major newspapers seem willing to investigate these days. Furthermore, they back up their stories, editorials and opinions with hard facts and figures and not simply hyperbole. It has been very interesting and eye opening to have the opportunity to read IBD on a regular basis. Anyone who really wants to know what is going on in the world today economically, politically, or in many other ways that matter, need to have a look for themselves and compare IBD to other major newspapers they may be reading now. The only people who will not appreciate Investor's Business Daily, are people who have already made up their minds about the world and just want to hear their own opinions spouted back to them. Unless you already know what opinion you want your newspaper to have, and what news you want to hear from your newspaper, I strongly recommend a strong dose of Investor's Business Daily every day.
IBD at a great monthly rate November 20, 2007 zoomer (USA) 10 out of 22 found this review helpful
This is a great value for a daily newspaper with a focus on investment news.
